Throughout the doctoral journey, there are multiple milestone exams that must be passed along the way. In Duke MEMS, these include a coursework exam, a research proposal, and a final dissertation defense. Four students will share their experiences preparing for and completing these important steps in earning your Ph.D at Duke.
