Where Our Master's Grads Go

A master's degree in mechanical engineering and materials science from Duke Engineering helps open opportunities for future success. Graduates of our MEMS program have gone on to careers at elite academic institutions and at leading aerospace, manufacturing and electonics firms.

In recent years about 60 percent of Duke MEMS master's students have gone directly into industry careers, while 40 percent of our Master of Science (MS) graduates and 10 percent of our Master of Engineering (MEng) graduates have gone on to PhD programs.
